Israeli strikes rain down on Lebanon as country celebrates Easter

Israeli strikes rained down across Lebanon on Easter Sunday, marking one of the heaviest nights of bombardment since attacks resumed in March. An air strike on the southern village of Kfarhata killed seven people, including a four-year-old child, while another attack in Beirut killed four and wounded 39 others. The Israeli military stated it was targeting Hezbollah infrastructure as part of a wider conflict that has killed over 1,400 people in Lebanon. These attacks have also displaced more than one million people and led to the closure of the main border crossing with Syria.
