Israeli settler who killed 'No Other Land' film crew member is released on house arrest

Yinon Levi, an Israeli settler, was released to house arrest after being charged with reckless manslaughter and use of an unlawful firearm. Levi is accused of killing Awdah Hathaleen, a beloved English teacher, activist, and member of the Oscar-winning film crew for No Other Land. Despite being sanctioned by the US and other countries, a Jerusalem magistrate court declined to keep Levi in custody. A video shared on Instagram allegedly shows Levi firing indiscriminately at Palestinians in Umm al-Kheir.
