Israeli president expected fly to UK to meet with British ministers next week

Israel’s president, Isaac Herzog, is expected to visit London next Thursday for meetings with British ministers. The visit is reportedly scheduled just weeks before the UK is anticipated to recognize the state of Palestine at the UN General Assembly in New York. This follows a previous visit in the spring by Israeli politician Gideon Saar, who met with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy.
