Israeli orders for French arms experienced ‘a record year’ in 2024

According to a leaked French defence ministry report for 2025, Israeli orders for French arms reached a record high in 2024, an amount not seen in eight years. The report, obtained by the media outlet Mediapart, has not yet been made public. This increase in sales to Israel coincided with a significant rise in France's global weapons sales, which achieved their second-best historical performance with 21.6 billion euros in orders.
