Israeli officials vow revenge after Palestinian attack in Jerusalem

A Palestinian attack at a settlement junction in Jerusalem left six people dead and others wounded. In response, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed retaliation, stating the killings would strengthen resolve and lead to increased operations in the occupied West Bank. Far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich went further, calling for the dismantling of the Palestinian Authority and for the attackers' villages to be treated like leveled areas in Gaza. This follows Smotrich's recent proposal to annex the majority of the West Bank.
