The government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu voted unanimously to fire attorney general Gali Baharav-Miara. She is the prosecutor in Netanyahu's ongoing corruption case, which involves charges of bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. Israel's Supreme Court immediately blocked the decision to fire her. Baharav-Miara will therefore keep her job until an appeals process concludes.
