Israeli forces board Gaza-bound aid ship, says French MEP

A Gaza-bound aid ship was recently approached and boarded by Israeli forces, according to Emma Fourreau, a French MEP involved in the Handala mission. Fourreau reported the Israeli army's presence on X, indicating that she and others planned to discard their phones. Al Jazeera Arabic also reported that three Israeli naval ships were moving towards the aid vessel, which had previously spotted an Israeli drone. Footage from the Freedom Flotilla Coalition showed at least six Israeli soldiers boarding the ship as activists sat with life jackets, raising their arms.
