Israel ‘utterly rejects’ UN declaration on two-state solution with Palestinians

Israel has officially rejected a UN General Assembly vote aimed at reviving the two-state solution with the Palestinians. The 'New York Declaration' passed with 142 votes in favor, while 10 countries, including Israel and the United States, voted against it. An Israeli foreign ministry spokesman stated that the resolution does not advance peace and instead encourages Hamas to continue the war.
