Israel used US-made bombs in attacks on Gaza schools, HRW says

A Human Rights Watch report alleges that Israel used US-made munitions in at least two separate air strikes on schools in Gaza that were sheltering displaced Palestinians. The investigation identified remnants of Boeing-produced GBU-39 small diameter bombs at the sites of attacks on the Khadija girls’ school and the al-Zeitoun C School, which killed dozens of civilians. HRW found no evidence of military targets at the schools and noted that civilians were not warned before the deadliest strike. As a result of these findings, the organization has called for the US to impose an arms embargo on the Israeli government.
