Israel threatens Global Sumud Flotilla again

Israel has threatened to take necessary measures against the Global Sumud Flotilla if it continues to approach Gaza in violation of the naval blockade. The flotilla aims to break the blockade and deliver humanitarian aid directly to the besieged enclave. Israeli officials proposed that the activists transfer the aid to the port of Ashkelon for Israeli-controlled delivery. Activists aboard the vessels have rejected this proposal and also denied accusations that their mission is intended to serve Hamas.
