Israel says US proposal for Gaza deal not conveyed in orderly fashion

A source close to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that a US proposal for a Gaza deal was not conveyed to Israel in an orderly fashion. This contradicts claims from the US president that Israel had accepted the terms to release all captives and end the war. The proposal was reportedly sent to Hamas via an Israeli activist and includes the release of 48 Israeli captives in exchange for a ceasefire and 2,500-3,000 Palestinian prisoners.
