Israel passed 30 laws 'deepening apartheid’ since 7 October, legal centre says

Israel has passed more than 30 laws since October 2023 that deepen a system of apartheid and repression against Palestinians, according to a report by the legal center Adalah. These laws and emergency measures target a range of political and civil rights, including freedom of expression, protest, citizenship, and the rights of prisoners. The report highlights the expanded use of counterterrorism laws almost exclusively against Palestinians and the channeling of state benefits to Jewish Israeli reservists.
