Israel intercepts missiles from Yemen, as protesters seek shelter

Israel's military intercepted missiles launched from Yemen, triggering air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and other parts of central Israel. The sirens forced thousands of protesters, who were demanding a ceasefire deal for the release of captives, to seek shelter. Earlier in the day, Israel conducted its own strikes near the Yemeni capital of Sanaa. The Israeli military claimed it targeted a power station used by Houthi forces.
