Israel conducting surveillance of US and allies at southern command centre: Report

Israel is reportedly conducting extensive surveillance at a US-led Civil-Military Coordination Centre (CMCC) located in southern Israel. The alleged monitoring, which includes recording meetings and discussions, has raised concerns among US and allied personnel operating at the facility. The US commander of the CMCC, Lieutenant General Patrick Frank, reportedly confronted his Israeli counterpart and demanded that the recording cease. While the Israeli military dismissed claims of intelligence gathering on partners as "absurd," it stated that it was documenting meetings in a transparent and agreed-upon manner.
