Iran’s judiciary suggests fast-tracked trials for protesters

Iran's judiciary has signaled it will fast-track trials and potentially executions for thousands arrested during massive nationwide protests. Human rights organizations report that hundreds of protesters have been killed and over 10,000 arrested. In response to escalating threats from the United States, China and Turkey have pushed for diplomacy and non-interference. Turkish officials have also accused Israel's intelligence agency, Mossad, of exploiting the unrest to incite a revolt against the Iranian government.
