Interim Venezuelan leader offers to ‘collaborate’ with US after Trump warning

Venezuela’s interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, has offered to collaborate with the Donald Trump administration following a US military operation that seized President Nicolas Maduro. This conciliatory tone came after Trump warned Rodriguez would "pay a very big price" if she did not comply with US objectives. The US president stated that America would run Venezuela until a proper transition is possible and that US oil companies would move in to manage the country's vast reserves. Maduro and his wife were seized by US special forces and are due to appear in a New York court on drug trafficking charges.
