ICJ vice-president: 'The Lord is counting on me to stand on the side of Israel'

Julia Sebutinde, the Ugandan vice-president of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), has stated that God is counting on her to stand on the side of Israel. Sebutinde was previously the sole dissenter on a 17-member panel that ruled it was plausible Israel was committing genocide in Gaza. She was also the only judge to dissent when a panel found Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories to be unlawful. A study has also accused her of plagiarizing a significant portion of her dissenting opinion from the ruling on the occupation.
