The International Criminal Court (ICC) is investigating Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) for an organized campaign of atrocities during the capture of el-Fasher. Deputy prosecutor Nazhat Shameem Khan stated that the office is working to establish individual criminal responsibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in el-Fasher and el-Geneina. The alleged crimes, targeting non-Arab communities, include mass executions, rape, arbitrary detention, and the use of mass graves. Evidence collected by the ICC includes video, audio, and satellite data showing a pattern of widespread mass criminality.
