'I am innocent': Maduro makes first appearance in US court

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro pleaded not guilty in a New York federal court following his abduction by US special forces from Caracas. Appearing shackled, Maduro faced charges including narco-terrorism conspiracy and possession of machine guns, while his wife Cilia Flores also pleaded not guilty to separate charges. The US military operation involved bombing key installations in Venezuela and has reportedly resulted in 80 deaths. Venezuela's acting president, Delcy Rodriguez, has condemned the US aggression and the seizure of Maduro.
