‘How can you not know?’: Sister of Palestine Action hunger striker hits back at Lammy

The sister of a hunger-striking Palestine Action prisoner has criticized UK Justice Secretary David Lammy for claiming ignorance about the protest. Eight prisoners, all accused of involvement with the proscribed group, are on a hunger strike to protest their detention conditions, with five having been hospitalized. Shahmina Alam, the sister of prisoner Kamran Ahmed, confronted Lammy at an event after he allegedly failed to respond to a letter about the strike. Pressure is mounting on Lammy as other MPs have also raised the issue in parliament, noting a lack of response from his office on a matter of urgency.
