Hamas senior leader describes 'loud explosions' before he fled Israeli strike in Qatar

Senior Hamas representative Ghazi Hamad described escaping an Israeli assassination attempt in Qatar. Hamad stated that he and other Hamas leaders were in a meeting reviewing an American ceasefire proposal when they heard loud explosions. They identified the sounds as Israeli shelling and were able to escape the scene quickly. Hamad described the shelling as intense, with about 12 rockets fired in less than a minute, but confirmed they survived.
