Hamas honours Mohammed Deif in new footage as symbol of Palestinian resistance

Hamas's military wing, the Qassam Brigades, has released previously recorded footage of its late commander Mohammed Deif, who was killed in an Israeli air strike in June 2024. The video portrays Deif as a central figure of Palestinian resistance and also includes other assassinated leaders like Yahya Sinwar and Ismail Haniyeh. This footage was shared as Israel claimed to have killed Abu Obeida, the masked Qassam spokesperson. Hamas has not yet responded to Israel's claim regarding Abu Obeida.
