Global Sumud Flotilla on its way to join up with boats from Tunisia

The Global Sumud Flotilla is on its way to Tunisia, where it plans to connect with other vessels from across the Mediterranean. The combined flotilla intends to sail to Gaza in an attempt to break the Israeli blockade on the Strip. In response, Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has proposed detaining the activists and holding them in "terrorists' conditions" to deter future flotillas.
