GCC: Any attack on a Gulf state is an attack on us all

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General declared that any aggression against a member state is considered an attack on the entire bloc. During a meeting with the US Secretary of State at the UN General Assembly, he described the partnership between the GCC and the US as a strategic necessity for ensuring security. The GCC leader also condemned a recent Israeli attack on Doha, Qatar, and called for an immediate and comprehensive ceasefire in Gaza.
