Gaza death toll rises to 62,622: Health Ministry

According to Palestinian health officials, the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza since October 2023 has reached at least 62,622, with 157,673 injured. In the past 24 hours, hospitals received the bodies of 61 people and treated 308 wounded Palestinians. Among these recent casualties, 16 were killed and 111 were injured while trying to obtain aid. These deaths bring the total number of Palestinians killed by Israeli fire while seeking food through the established aid distribution system to 2,076.
