Gaza: 8,000 bodies remain under the rubble, Civil Defence says

Gaza's Civil Defence reports that the bodies of approximately 8,000 Palestinians killed during the war remain under the rubble. An additional 3,000 people are still missing, with their conditions and whereabouts unknown. Rescue operations are severely hindered by continued Israeli demolitions, unexploded ordnance, and restrictions on the entry of necessary equipment and machinery. According to a UN assessment, Gaza is buried under at least 61 million tonnes of rubble, complicating recovery and posing contamination risks.
