Freed Israeli-American captive to rejoin army and resume role in Gaza genocide

Idan Alexander, a 21-year-old Israeli-American soldier who was formerly a captive of Hamas, has announced he will return to the Israeli army. He declared his intention to resume his service in Gaza at a Friends of the Israel Defence Forces (FIDF) fundraising event in the United States. Alexander stated that his story continues with service and that serving Israel is a great honor. He was previously freed in May as a goodwill gesture by Hamas to advance ceasefire talks.
