France condemns Netanyahu's Gaza takeover plan

French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barrot strongly condemned the Israeli government's plan to prepare for the complete occupation of Gaza. In a statement on social media, he said such an operation would only worsen an already catastrophic situation. Barrot added that the plan would not succeed in releasing Hamas hostages, disarming the group, or forcing its surrender.
