Family of Palestine Action prisoner on hunger strike say her health is deteriorating

The family of a Palestine Action activist, identified as T Hoxha, is concerned for her health as she marks the 22nd day of a hunger strike in an English prison. Hoxha is one of the "Filton 24" activists on remand since November 2024, awaiting trial on terrorism charges related to a protest at the Israeli arms company, Elbit Systems. She began the strike to protest deteriorating detention conditions, including the suspension of recreational activities and the withholding of mail. Her family reports that her health is declining, with high ketone levels and low blood sugar, and that the prison delayed providing healthcare.
