A man detained and tortured by Sudan's Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has asked British counter-terrorism police to investigate three UK-based men for their alleged links to the paramilitary group. The victim, Yaslam Altayeb, alleges the individuals were involved in or supported his abuse and other war crimes during the conflict in Sudan. Among those named are a media adviser to the RSF leader and a propagandist who allegedly used social media to support the RSF's violent actions. This legal referral seeks to hold individuals in the UK accountable for their connection to atrocities in the Sudanese war, which include acts described as genocide.
