Fourteen of the fifteen UN Security Council members are demanding a ceasefire and increased aid for Gaza, with the United States as the only holdout. A report revealed that US contractors at a Gaza aid center interrogated a journalist's source before the journalist was killed. In response to the humanitarian situation, Israel announced it will establish two additional aid distribution centers in southern Gaza. Concurrently, an Israeli military raid in Nablus injured at least 80 Palestinians, and Israel carried out air strikes on military sites near Damascus, Syria.
