Israel escalated its strikes in Gaza, killing at least 51 Palestinians despite Hamas agreeing to a 60-day ceasefire proposal. Following Hamas's acceptance, Egypt stated that it is now Israel's responsibility to agree to the deal. In a separate incident, a Palestinian father and son were attacked in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron.
