Elite Yemeni fighters swap allegiances from UAE to Saudi Arabia

Elite Yemeni fighters in the National Resistance Forces (NRF) have switched their allegiance from the United Arab Emirates to Saudi Arabia. This shift followed the withdrawal of Emirati forces from southern Yemen after Saudi Arabia backed a demand from the Presidential Leadership Council. Saudi forces have now replaced the UAE in key areas like Aden and Lahj, providing funding and orders to the NRF. While some soldiers see it as a simple change of command, others view it as a necessary alignment with Riyadh's leadership in the coalition against the Houthis.
