Dozens of pro-Palestine activists held on remand in the UK are threatening a large-scale hunger strike over their prison conditions. The 33 prisoners, arrested for actions against an Elbit Systems factory and an RAF air base, claim their treatment has worsened since their group, Palestine Action, was designated a terrorist organization. In a letter to the Home Secretary, the activists demand an end to censorship of their communications and other restrictions. If their demands are not met, the strike is scheduled to begin on November 2nd, the anniversary of the Balfour Declaration.
