Dozens of Palestinian children from Gaza to be brought to UK for treatment

The British government will evacuate between 30 and 50 Palestinian children from Gaza to the UK for medical treatment. This action marks the first time the UK government itself has organized such an evacuation, following a request from 96 MPs. The children will be permitted to travel with family members and may enter the asylum system since returning to Gaza is uncertain.
