Doctors Without Borders outraged by death of nurse in Gaza

Doctors Without Borders expressed outrage over the death of one of its nurses in Gaza, Hussein Alnajjar. He died from shrapnel wounds sustained during an Israeli air strike near his tent five days prior. Alnajjar is the thirteenth medic from the international organization to be killed in the conflict. The organization stated it was appalled that military violence continues to kill its Palestinian colleagues, noting that at least 540 aid workers have been killed by Israel since October 2023.
