Death toll in Gaza since dawn on Wednesday rises to 72

Israeli air strikes on the Gaza Strip killed at least 72 Palestinians on a single Wednesday, with most of the deaths occurring in Gaza City. Israeli forces have issued expulsion orders for nearly one million residents of Gaza City ahead of a planned ground offensive to occupy the area. The total death toll in Gaza since October 2023 has risen to over 64,605, with more than 163,319 others wounded, according to the Palestinian health ministry.
