Colombia expels Israeli diplomats after unlawful interception of Sumud Flotilla

Colombia expelled all remaining Israeli diplomats and terminated its free trade agreement with Israel. This decision followed the Israeli interception of the humanitarian Sumud Flotilla, which was en route to Gaza. President Gustavo Petro described the interception as an "international crime" and demanded the release of two Colombian citizens who were on the flotilla. This action escalates previous measures, as Colombia had already cut diplomatic ties and banned coal exports to Israel in protest of its actions in Gaza.
