'Board of Peace' members commit $7bn to Gaza relief, US pledges further $10bn

Nine member nations of Donald Trump's "Board of Peace" have pledged a total of $7 billion towards relief efforts in Gaza, with the US committing a further $10 billion for the board's operations. The donor countries include Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, and others, though Azerbaijan's participation in the initial fund was disputed. The World Bank will manage the funds, which will be dispersed for reconstruction and development projects. However, the board stipulated that reconstruction cannot begin until Hamas disarms, and police recruitment is reportedly underway in the enclave.
