Australia pledges additional $20 million in aid for Gaza

Australia has announced an additional humanitarian contribution of $20 million in response to the crisis in Gaza. This new funding will support organizations delivering food, medical supplies, and other lifesaving aid to women and children. The latest pledge brings Australia's total aid donation to over $130 million for civilians in Gaza and Lebanon since October 2023. The government also reiterated its call for Israel to allow the full resumption of aid, in line with ICJ orders, and continues to advocate for a permanent ceasefire and a two-state solution.
