At least 100,000 foreign national visas revoked since Trump took office

Since President Donald Trump took office, the U.S. State Department has revoked more than 100,000 visas from foreign nationals. The revocations targeted individuals who had encounters with U.S. law enforcement for criminal activities such as assault, theft, and driving under the influence. To enforce this, the administration launched a "Continuous Vetting Center" to monitor all 55 million visa holders, which includes scrutinizing their social media posts. This policy has also impacted some international students, who have had their visas revoked for their campus activism on global issues.
