Almost 21,000 children left disabled due to Israel's war on Gaza, UN report finds

A United Nations report found that at least 21,000 children have become disabled due to injuries sustained during Israel's war on Gaza. Since the assault began in October 2023, approximately 40,500 children have suffered war-related injuries. The UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities also noted that aid restrictions disproportionately affect people with disabilities. These individuals face extreme difficulty reaching distribution points and are often left without food, water, or sanitation.
