All United Nations Security Council members, except for US, call for ceasefire and aid into Gaza

Fourteen of the fifteen United Nations Security Council members are demanding a ceasefire and increased aid into Gaza, citing data that confirms a famine. The United States was the only member not to join the call. Speaking for the group, the Guyanese ambassador called the crisis man-made, condemned the use of starvation as a weapon of war, and called for the immediate, unconditional release of all hostages. The members also urged Israel to lift all restrictions on aid delivery and reverse its decision to expand its military operation in Gaza.
