After Italy, Spain to send navy ship to assist Gaza aid flotilla

Spain announced it will dispatch a navy ship to provide possible relief and assistance to the Global Sumud Flotilla attempting to deliver aid to Gaza. This decision follows Italy's condemnation of an overnight attack on the flotilla, with the Italian Defence Minister also redirecting a navy ship toward the convoy to offer assistance. Organizers of the aid expedition shared footage showing an apparent explosion on one of their vessels. The civilian flotilla, which includes over 300 activists from 44 countries, has been previously attacked and is the largest maritime aid convoy to head for Gaza since October 2023.
