African journalists group slams Israeli attack on Gaza journalists

A newly-formed group of 150 African journalists, African Journalists Against Genocide (AJAG), has condemned Israel for targeting Palestinian journalists in Gaza. The group expressed outrage and denounced what it called the complete impunity of Israeli forces, particularly after a double-bombing at Nasser Hospital killed five journalists. AJAG's statement highlighted the unabated violence against their colleagues and asserted that Israel has murdered at least 274 journalists since October 2023.
